Quality Highlights

Glyndwr University offers individual attention, a welcoming Campus, superior facilities, University of Wales Degrees and excellent value for money. It has two Centres of Expertise; the Centre for Water Soluble Polymers and the
Centre for Advanced and Renewable Materials

Campus life Most student accommodation is either on our purpose built campus or within walking distance. Qualified nurses, Student Services and, of course, the International Centre, are all nearby on campus. You will find coffee bars, a bar in the Student Union, and a restaurant which caters for a range of diets, including vegetarian dishes, gluten-free meals and meat from the halal butcher and there is also a Muslim prayer room.

You can develop your fitness at the new Sports Centre, go to a pop or classical concert at the William Aston Hall, or perhaps if you are a musician, record your own CD in the Sound Broadcasting Studio. Gallery 103 exhibits the work of local, national and international artists and the North Wales Film Commission has a base on campus too. You can also get help to find a part time job, perhaps even on campus, working with children visiting the science discovery centre, Techniquest@NEWI. You will find prices are very reasonable in Wrexham, and at the weekend, with the money you have saved, you can visit Manchester, Liverpool or historic Chester, or the beautiful hills of North Wales.
