Music Auditions for the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama

Building upon the success of last years auditions in Tokyo; the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama will be holding music auditions for their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for entry in September 2010.
The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama is the National Conservatory of Wales and one of the leading UK drama schools. It is a provider of specialist practical and performance-based undergraduate and postgraduate training for talented students in music, drama, arts management, theatre design and stage management.
It is the first All-Steinway Conservatory in the UK and is currently investing £22.5 million to build a state-of-the-art concert hall, theatre, and other facilities to deliver world class training. HRH The Prince of Wales is a Patron
The auditions will be held on Saturday 24th October 2009 at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. Students interested in auditioning should email: international@rwcmd.ac.uk for further details and to arrange an audition time.
Shoko Morimoto who is studying for a BMus (Hons) at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama from Japan said, “During my time at the Royal Welsh College, I have been lucky enough to be taught by and play alongside euphonium soloists Dr. Robert Childs and David Childs and the Cory Band.
