China Employability Roadshow Visits Wales

The British Council China and Cardiff University are offering a unique opportunity on February 6th for Chinese students studying in Wales, to attend a free workshop on how they can improve their employability.

HR executives and major employers from China will be in Cardiff speaking on the job market in China. Representatives from the Chinese Embassy and Global Education will introduce internships schemes for Chinese students.  In addition successful alumni will talk about their experiences securing work and setting up business in China.

The aim of the workshop is to help Chinese students get a better understanding of employees’ needs and the job market in China, to prepare them to enter the job market after graduation and enhance their employability and competitiveness in the Chinese job market.

There are almost 2,000 Chinese students currently studying in Wales, 31% of the international student population in Wales. The workshop is aimed at ensuring that these students achieve the best return on investment from their qualifications by gaining employment when they return to China.
