Welcome to the Wales International Consortium
The Wales International Consortium (WIC) was formed in 2003 by all the higher education institutions in Wales to promote Wales in the international market, as a highly desirable and competitive study destination.
In response to the Prime Minister's Initiative, the Wales International Consortium aims to increase the recruitment of full-time international students into Wales, working collaboratively with member institutions and with partners of both national and international reputation and profile.
The Wales International Consortium is co-funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales and the British Council Wales and is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government.
The Wales International Consortium represents the whole of Wales higher education in the international market and is responsible for developing collaborative direction and recruitment projects to complement the marketing and recruitment activities of member institutions.
