Aberystwyth
A lively, friendly and welcoming university town by the sea with a population of 20,000, (8,000 of whom are students) located in the safest county in the UK. The area remains unspoilt with many opportunities for outdoor activities such as sailing, surfing. The coastline to the north and south abounds in fine beaches with hills and mountains to the east. A number of international renowned research facilities are located in the town including the National Library of Wales and the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences. It has the largest Arts Centre in Mid and West Wales and a lively social scene.
