Wales contains three of Britain's most famous national parks; Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales, Snowdonia National Park in North Wales  and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in West Wales. 1200 km of coastline surrounds Wales, dotted with award-winning beaches including the Gower Peninsula - the first place in Britain to be designated as an "area of outstanding beauty".
