Aberystwyth University
Aberystwyth University’s School of Management and Business is the first business school in Wales to secure MBM (Masters in Business and Management) accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), and one of only 20 business schools world-wide.
Bangor University
Business School has an RAE ranking of ‘5’; demonstrating research of international excellent.
In recent years, our staff have conducted high level consultancy work including major policy studies for many leading organisations like the European Commission, The World Bank and the UK Treasury.
With a a unique entrepreneurial focus, the course includes modules such as “New Venture Creation”: This module examines the advantages and disadvantages of the various routes to business start-up, including new venture creation, or establishing a business based on your own expertise, experience and ideas; buying an established business; purchasing a franchise; and succession through a family firm, an increasingly common way of becoming involved in entrepreneurial activity.
Other new and highly contemporary areas include modules in “Corporate Risk Manamgent”
The MBA is now taught in a brand new world class £10 million Management Development Centre.
Cardiff University
The Cardiff MBA is a global programme of study which provides participants with a rigorous training in management, relevant to a full spectrum of business careers. The programme includes a thorough coverage of the key functional aspects of management whilst providing the opportunity to specialise through an exceptionally wide choice of electives. The programme emphasises the international aspects of business and attracts well-qualified programme participants from all over the world, creating a mix of experience and culture of benefit to all. Competition for places on the MBA is considerable: an applicant: place ratio of 10:1 is not unusual. The School selects the best candidates with reference to prior academic performance, work experience and overall motivation. Students without work experience but with a strong academic background may be considered for entry to the programme.
6 Pathways are possible including international management, marketing and strategy, human resource management, accounting and finance, operations management and logistics.
Glyndwr University
An option moudule and a core module on the International Business (MBA) is delivered by professors from Georgetown University, Washington and another option involve a link with Harris Manchester College Oxford. Additionally when a student enrols at NEWI they get automatic student membership of the Chartered Management Institute and when they graduate they become members of the CMI. Swansea University

Trinity College Carmarthen
No placement is required for this course as a placement is undertaken whilst on the course. Trinity offers two industry specific courses within Arts and Tourism management.
UWIC
With 300 students UWIC's MBA is one of the largest in Europe. Internationally recognised with modules designed to give it an international focus the MBA attracts students for all over the world including the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa. A key feature is scheduled visits to European and international destinations to observe manufacturing and other commercial activities which have included Spain, Germany, South Africa and Brazil. Small classes ensure quality time with tutors.
The Cardiff School of Management at UWIC will consider suitably qualified students without work experience.
University of Wales Lampeter
This MBA offers five passible pathways: Leadership, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or Information Management.
