This enables international students to develop their professional skills and contribute to dynamic economic activities in the UK. Most visa extension criteria require a graduate student to find relevant training or employment and to obtain the relevant visa documents with the support of an employer.  There are also special considerations for an applicant who is; a graduate student nurse, a postgraduate doctor or postgraduate dentist, undertaking a clinical attachment or post as a dental observer, or undertaking training as a postgraduate doctor, dentist or general practitioner.
